Brush On Aging! Paint Lessons 101

1- Sand your unfinished furniture piece.
2- Apply paste wax in the corners or places you do not want the paint to adhere.
3- Coat entire surface with primer.
4- Choose two shades of paint. One for the undercoat to show through and one for the topcoat.
5- Paint with the first coat of paint (undercoat).
6- Add additional paste wax on areas where you want the undercoat to show through after the first coat dries.
7- Paint the second color.
8- Scour sections of the furniture with a wire brush or coarse sandpaper to encourage the "aging" process!
