Colorful Embroidery from Grey Watkins

We love this beautiful embroidered fabric from Grey Watkins, one of our favorite companies. La Mamounia is a flamboyant embroidery in a color combination typically found in Moroccan ceramics. The bold palette is a gorgeous choice for headboards, tablecloths, pillows, ottomans, etc. It also fits in nicely in a room for a younger child or for a teenage girl too. The tight embroidery stitches on on a sturdy base of linen/cotton makes it appropriate for a light upholstery use.
Colorway: White/Multi only.
Content: 60% linen/40% cotton base;  80% viscose/20% cotton embroidery.
Horizontal repeat: 25 inches.

Rose Cumming Fabrics

This is one of our favorite new fabrics from Rose Cumming. Thistle is a rustic print on 100% linen with slubs and knots that are part of the charm. This beautiful fabric comes in six colorways including Brown (seen here). The pattern has a medium repeat of 17" x 21", perfect for larger pillows and drapes.

Rustic Bronze Wall Sconce

Rustic Swag Sconce with Bronze Shade

The metal bronze shade makes this wall sconce special! 

The all metal wall sconce resembles a swag that has been tied. It is then finished in bronze with a matching bronze metal shade that is rectangular in shape and has three sides with the open side to the wall.  Modern with a touch of rustic style and design! This sconce uses a cord cover that is also bronze and is 36" long. The sconce is large at 28" high x 16.25" wide shade x 4.25" deep from the wall. Slender enough for hallways. Modern Nickel Chandeliers and Pendants

Modern Nickel Chandelier
This large chandelier is a beautiful modern style all in polished nickel and is perfect for larger dining or for the center of a room. The all metal fixture is finished in the shiny nickel including the chain and canopy. The style of this chandelier is a rendition of small bowls combined in a circle to create this modern look. The ring of bowls are connected to the lower canopy by rods finished the same. There are twelve candles with one inside each bowl. Size: 38.5" across x 36.5" high. This unique smaller pendant all in polished nickel is perfect for smaller dining or for hallways. The all metal fixture is finished in a polished nickel including. The style of this pendant is a rendition of saucers that are combined to create this modern look. The pendant is round and is 17.5" across x 8.5" high up to where the chain meets. Ann Sacks Tile Features The Stoneware Collection

Something new at Ann Sacks! New sizes have been added in the Stoneware Collection so there are more possibilities when combining the different sizes or when used alone. You will find 9" x 9" tiles as well as 8" x 8" tiles. Smaller sizes such as the 3" x 9" combine with the new larger 9" x 9" for more combinations. Each design in this collection features uneven glazes that are natural depending on the heat of the kiln. This gives this tile a beautiful rustic quality that fits into the designer rooms of today.

This stoneware tile is the New Spiced Ginger. Here they have used the 6" x 9" tiles.

This combination is from the Barbara Barry Collection for Ann Sacks. Featured here are the new grooved tiles in Lagoon. They are showing the 4" x 4" mixed with the 4" x 6" base trim. Yummy!

Unique Designer Rooms

This is the provocative interior of the restaurant Sketch in London. British artist, Martin Creed, is known for his sculptures of stacked furniture. Sketch chose him to redesign their restaurant into something fabulous!

The design: Creed has brought together more than 96 types of marble in a geometric formation on the floor. Every piece of furniture and even the cutlery is different than all the others. New items are brought together with antiques to create this menagerie. Bursts of color shows the energy and wit of the designer. The entire room resembles a sculpture which is what Creed is known for in the world of art. Do you love it or hate it?
